A Pediatrician Runs for Congress: Doc-to-Doc with Nadia Hashimi, MD

Nadia Hashimi is not your ordinary doctor.

She is a best-selling author, the daughter of Afghan Immigrants. She is the wife of a refugee who became a neurosurgeon. She is a mother to four children and an advocate for improving the state of healthcare. Now she's running for congress in the hotly contested Maryland 6th district (incumbent John Delaney will not be running in 2018).  I spoke with her about politics, the campaign, and how to fix American healthcare.
